HARVEST PARTY

FALL FOOD, FUN FELLOWSHIP

Every fall, more specifically the second Sunday in October, we host a special evening of fellowship and fun known as the Harvest Party. This has become a favorite tradition for many in the church and is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and strengthen relationships.

The evening begins with a little friendly competition on the field. At 4pm, everyone is invited to join in a game of touch football. Whether you're ready to play or simply want to cheer from the sidelines, the game is a great way to kick off the evening with laughter and energy. It's a casual, welcoming environment where people of all ages can enjoy being active together.

At 5pm, the event transitions into a potluck dinner, one of the highlights of the night. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish to share, creating a table filled with a wide variety of homemade favorites. The meal offers plenty of time to sit down with friends, meet someone new, and enjoy great food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

After dinner, the fun continues with a cornhole tournament. Players can team up and test their aim while spectators gather around to watch the friendly competition unfold. Laughter and cheering are common as teams try to land the perfect toss and claim bragging rights for the evening.

Throughout the night, our 9-square game is set up and is almost always surrounded by excited players. It has become a huge hit with the kids—and even a number of adults who can't resist joining the fun. With a glowing campfire nearby, games happening all around, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others, the Harvest Party is a night that truly captures the spirit of community here at Cornerstone.
